Oaklee recently earned her Master of Social Work degree from Boise State University, after completing her Bachelor of Social Work at Utah Valley University in 2021. Her professional and clinical experience includes working at a residential treatment center for teen girls, in the pediatric inpatient psychiatric unit at Primary Children’s Hospital, and completing her graduate internship at an outpatient therapy office, where she developed skills in play therapy. She specializes in working with children and adolescents, particularly in the early stages of their mental health journeys, and is familiar with therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and play therapy techniques. Her approach integrates family systems work, recognizing the vital role family dynamics play in fostering growth and healing.
