Attachment Disorders

From the moment of conception, a mother and child begin a rhythm of attachment that becomes a pattern for life. Depending on how this dance is established, a child learns to view his world and what to expect from it.

DBT is a form cognitive-behavior therapy (CBT) that Marsha Linehan developed over thirty years ago to help people who have extreme difficulty managing their emotions, especially those with self-injury and suicidal behaviors.

Neurological Biofeedback

Neurofeedback, or NF for short, is a technique used to train the brain to help improve body function and regulation in all areas. By challenging the brain with exercises done in a therapeutic setting, we can help the brain learn to function more effectively.

Play Therapy

Used as a medium for therapy, play gives the child the opportunity to express feelings, thoughts and recreate major events that can lead to healing.“Play" in this meaning furnishes the child with opportunities to “act-out” situations which are disturbing, conflicting and confusing to him.

Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) is a research-based highly effective treatment endorsed by the American Psychiatric Association, Department of Defense, Veteran’s Administration and ISSTS as a treatment for trauma.
