Kyler Griffith

CMHC | NF Supervisor & Therapist

Kyler is a CMHC after graduating with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cumberlands. In his work, he believes in the quote, "If you don't like where you are, move." He understands that "moving" (or changing) is challenging but leads to life-fulfilling growth. Kyler wants to help guide and walk alongside his clients as they make these changes to improve their life. Some of his most recent work included working with adults who were going through substance use, sexual addiction, personality disorders, and mood disorders. He is working on being trained and certified in EMDR.  Kyler uses various techniques to maximize his clients' counseling process in his work. Specifically, Kyler uses CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness techniques. Kyler received his bachelor's degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University, where he volunteered on campus at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) outreach, where he helped spread awareness and resources for those with suicidal ideation.

Kyler loves watching and playing sports such as hockey, baseball, basketball, and football. He also enjoys traveling around the country, especially to warmer places. When he is not working or involved in sports, he is planning when he can get his family to Disneyland. In previous jobs, he has worked with individuals with special needs and has a soft spot in his heart for that population.
