Michelle Anderson

CSW-I | Therapist

Michelle is a compassionate, proactive therapist who meets you where you are and walks beside you toward lasting change. Her approach blends empathy with action—guiding you out of stuck places, healing emotional wounds, and building the skills to meet life’s challenges with confidence.
With specialized training including trauma, emotional dysregulation and distress tolerance, Michelle helps clients process both past and present experiences in ways that reduce distress and restores safety, empowerment, and self-trust. She works effectively with PTSD, complex trauma (C-PTSD), anxiety/phobias, depression, and relationship wounds using evidence-based methods–including both cognitive and somatic (body/nervous system) approaches.
Michelle is warm, genuine, and nonjudgmental. Every session is a collaboration where you set the pace and direction of your work, while Michelle provides tools and perspectives that fit your strengths and values. Together you'll calm your nervous system, reprocess difficult memories and experiences, and expand your emotional capacity–building greater resilience, and a deeper self-connection leading to a more fulfilling life.
She draws from a variety of evidence-based modalities to tailor her approach to your unique needs. Her training includes:
-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
-Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Disorders (UP)
-Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) (accelerated EMDR-type modality)
-Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-Internal Family Systems (IFS)
-Spirituality-sensitive therapy
-Play Therapy
-Sex therapy/intimate relationships training with Dr. Jennifer Finlayson-Fife
