Lacey Hancock

Lacey has been helping people through their life adversities for over a decade. She is a therapist that aims to teach, learn, grow, and develop resilience in herself and others. Lacey graduated in 2012, with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University. She currently holds the license of CMHC.
Lacey has extensive training in treating issues with trauma, grief, relationships, depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, dissociative disorders, ADHD issues, and more. The art of resiliency is something she studies and implements with all her clients. She is very conscious of maintaining a non-judgmental approach with her clients and can easily adapt to all kinds of personalities.
Her counseling foundation is centered on the Attachment Theory and Poly-Vagal Theory. Lacey has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) for several years, Internal Family System (Parts Work), and is working toward an ADHD specialist certification. She is also trained in neurofeedback therapy and cognitive behavior therapy. Lacey is passionate about the EMDR process and has seen how it heals people in their darkest of times.
Lacey is very focused on the family system and human connection. She enjoys helping children, teens, and adults overcome their obstacles in order to develop and foster a deeper connection and stronger attachment within themselves and within their families.
Lacey is a Wife and Mother to three kids. She enjoys watching her son play basketball, riding bikes with her young girls, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, baking cakes, sitting in the sunshine, and going on hikes.
