She works closely with her clients to help them discover what will work best for them. She believes all individuals have within themselves the ability to grow, heal and change and feels privileged to be able to help them do so through modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, DBT, mindfulness, psychoeducation, play therapy and EMDR.

Alanna has experience working with postpartum mothers, depression, anxiety, self-harm and suicidal ideation, LGBTQ, family conflict, ADHD, addiction, grief and trauma. She is EMDR trained.

Alanna’s undergrad training was in piano performance and she has spent years teaching theory and piano lessons. She loves music and art and recognizes how valuable they can be in the healing process.

In her spare time Alanna loves to feed people.  Cooking, baking and sharing food with her 5 children as well as other family and friends is one way she shows love and relieves stress. Her very favorite thing is chocolate chip cookies and she indulges in one fresh from the oven almost every night! She also enjoys running, water sports, sewing, organizing, and reading.
