Sophie Caughman

Sophie has a Master’s Degree in Social Work from East Tennessee State University and a Bachelor’s of Science in Social Work from Brigham Young University- Idaho. Sophie is passionate about helping clients feel empowered to face their challenges and works to create a therapeutic setting where clients feel heard and understood. She enjoys a collaborative approach with clients to explore healthy coping mechanisms and grounding techniques that support the client’s goals.
Sophie has experience working with older adolescents and young adults; depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, gender identity, trauma, and life transitions Sophie has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing.
In her free time, Sophie loves to travel, spend time with family or friends, read, go on walks, and try new restaurants.
