Nicole’s compassion and desire to help others led her in obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science from Utah Valley University and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from Brigham Young University. Nicole finds joy in helping people grow and heal despite difficult circumstances.
Nicole has experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, and with various challenges such as trauma, mental illness, and relationship struggles. Nicole has worked with adults with severe mental illness. She also worked with children and teens in the school setting before coming to the Green House Center.
Nicole uses a variety of modalities including motivational interviewing, CBT, trauma-focused CBT, art therapy, and play therapy. She is also in the process of being trained in EMDR and Neurofeedback. Nicole believes in the importance of family relationships and implements parenting skills and attachment theory in her work.
Nicole enjoys running, hiking, reading in her hammock, and spending time with her family.
