Myrna McMillan

Myrna came into the counseling profession with her soft and gentle nature after many life experiences that engendered compassion and belief in the resiliency of the human spirit. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from BYU and her Master’s degree, in Marriage and Family therapy, from Argosy University. She believes that attachment is key in healing the wounded soul and she has a passion for helping people who have suffered trauma. She especially enjoys working with children.

She worked with at-risk teens in a day treatment facility and with children and families in in-home therapy before coming to The Green House Center.

She is trained in Play therapy, EMDR, Neurofeedback, and ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy).

Myrna is the mother of 5 sons, 7 stepsons, and 5 stepdaughters, and the grandmother of the most beautiful grandchildren on the planet! And loves spending time with them. She also enjoys music and art.
