Michelle has a friendly and engaging personality allowing her to create connection and safety with her clients of all ages. Michelle has been trained in EMDR and Lifespan Integration therapies for use in healing trauma and attachment injuries, with a special focus in betrayal trauma and post-traumatic growth. Michelle also uses a variety of modalities such as DBT, CBT, play, art, and sand tray therapies in order to best meet the needs of her clients.
Michelle received her undergraduate degrees in Family Science and Special Education, from Brigham Young University. Graduating with her masters from a CACREP certified mental health program, Michelle is a member of Chi Sigma Iota international honor society of professional counseling.
Michelle is the mother of eight children and has experienced the joys and sorrows of life experiences. Her greatest joy is her family. She enjoys spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She loves being outdoors, hiking and biking, and has a passion for learning new things.
