Lauren Cornia

Lauren Cornia earned a Master of Social Work degree from Brigham Young University. She enjoys working with all ages and has a particular passion for working with young adults and teen girls. She believes the therapeutic process is a partnership that relies heavily on safety and transparency, and she enjoys collaborating with her clients in finding creative solutions to the problems they encounter.
Although Lauren has worked with individuals of various backgrounds and challenges, she is especially experienced treating clients with anxiety, depression, and trauma. She has received training in art therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and sand tray therapy. She has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), along with neurofeedback. Lauren strongly believes that therapy is a uniquely individual experience and enjoys watching clients grow in confidence as they find the style that works best for them.
In Lauren’s free time you will find her reading lots of books, baking, playing softball, traveling, and boating with her family. She loves Harry Potter, exploring new places and cultures, and spending time with her golden retriever.
