Erica Arrendondo

Erica has always been inspired by human resilience and drawn to the idea that every individual has a unique and meaningful story. She enjoys helping to de-stigmatize therapy and feels inspired by those who come to her office willing to explore and grow.
Erica graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in Family Studies. Her time studying families helped her to see more deeply the potential for healing within family relationships. Wanting to help both families and individuals in their journeys towards healing, she continued her education and earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work from BYU.
Erica believes that relationships (with others and with self) are an integral part of the healing process and works from an attachment theory and systems theory lens. She utilizes a variety of modalities such as CBT, ACT, EFT, motivational interviewing, play therapy, and other methods. She is working towards being trained in EMDR.
Erica enjoys working with children, adolescents, and adult. She has worked with substance abuse treatment groups and social skills classes and has worked with a variety of challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic violence, faith crisis, relationship concerns, and eating disorders.
Erica is big Harry Potter fan and enjoys running, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
